I joined The Creative Services team as a design intern nearing completion of my degree. I was looking to gain significant workplace experience before graduation. I produced a wide range of printed materials including signs, brochures, fliers and postcards and helped solve design and construction problems related to museum signage, packaging, etc. It was a rewarding experience as an intern to learn how to take a job from conception all the way through printing.

I joined NBAM at the tail end of my junior year of college. This was the first opportunity I was able to work with such a great designer and other talented individuals. Jamie Uretsky brought me under her design wing and allowed me to gain experience in that wonderful museum. I created promotional materials for educational programs, gallery events, and upcoming exhibitions. Materials included brochures, fliers, and posters for both print and online. Designed labels, artist statements, and visuals for museum exhibitions gaining experience in some exhibition design.

During my career at BSU I was able to build relationships with amazing professors and classmates. Surrounding myself with such talent I pushed myself to absorb all I could from these people. I can only hope my work reflects a hint of what I've learned in my academic term in Bridgewater.
